The goal of the Traineeship Programme is to offer successful candidates an opportunity to improve their skills, to acquire practical knowledge in one of ECDC’s Units as well as the experience of working in an international environment.	Harjoittelijaohjelman tavoitteena on tarjota valituille hakijoille mahdollisuus kehittää taitojaan, hankkia käytännön tietämystä jossakin ECDC:n yksikössä sekä saada kokemusta työskentelystä kansainvälisessä ympäristössä.
The traineeships are organised twice a year, each for a period of three to six months (deadline for applications on 30 January and 30 April).	Harjoittelujaksoja järjestetään kaksi kertaa vuodessa, ja ne kestävät kolmesta kuuteen kuukautta (hakemusten jättämisen määräpäivät ovat 30. tammikuuta ja 30. huhtikuuta).
The ECDC Traineeship Programme is open to students who are nationals of the Member States of the European Economic Area (the Member States of the European Union, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway) and of candidate countries.	ECDC:n harjoitteluohjelma on avoin opiskelijoille, jotka ovat Euroopan talousalueen jäsenvaltioiden (Euroopan unionin jäsenvaltioiden, Islannin, Liechtensteinin ja Norjan) tai ehdokasvaltioiden kansalaisia.
